Terms of service

These terms explain the rules for using Arcadia. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Arcadia is operated by [Company name], [legal form], registered at [registry and number], whose office is at [address] (“Arcadia”, “we”). You can reach us at [contact e-mail].
2. The service
Arcadia lets you make animated vertical videos with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. Claude writes and builds each video inside a private workspace that Arcadia hosts for you, and Arcadia’s servers render the pictures, the voice and the sound.
Some features are announced on the site before they are available. We may change, add or remove features to improve the service.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
One account is for one person. It opens Arcadia on up to 2 computers.
4. Your own Claude plan
Claude is not included in Arcadia. To make videos, you connect your own Claude plan (Pro, Max or Ultra) or your own Anthropic API key. You sign in to Claude inside Claude Code, on Anthropic’s own page. Arcadia never asks for, reads or stores your Claude password or tokens.
Your use of Claude is governed by your own agreement with Anthropic, and Anthropic bills it to you. Arcadia is not responsible for Anthropic’s prices, usage limits, availability or decisions about your Claude account. Arcadia is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Anthropic.
5. Subscription and payment
- Arcadia is one subscription, billed in advance every month, which renews automatically until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Downloading and opening the Arcadia app needs an active subscription.
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your subscription stays active until the end of the month you paid for.
- Prices are shown before you pay, with taxes where they apply. We tell you in advance of any price change, which then applies from your next renewal.
Because the subscription gives immediate access to digital content, you agree that the service starts at once and you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal, where the law allows. Otherwise, payments are not refunded except where the law requires it.
6. Your videos
You own the videos, scripts and other content you make with Arcadia. You give us only the rights needed to host, process, render and show that content to you and to post it where you ask us to.
Claude checks facts and lists its sources, but AI can make mistakes. Read the script and its sources before you approve it and before you post. You are responsible for what you publish and for following the rules of each platform you post to.
7. What you must not do
- Break the law, or make content that is hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or that incites violence.
- Present false information as true, impersonate a real person, or use someone’s likeness or voice without their consent.
- Infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Try to copy, extract, decompile or reverse-engineer Arcadia’s engine, styles, tools or asset bank, including by asking Claude or any other software to do it.
- Use your workspace to attack, overload or get into other systems, or to mine cryptocurrency.
- Share your account, resell Arcadia, or get around plan limits.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
8. Arcadia’s software
Arcadia’s engine, styles, tools, website and brand belong to Arcadia and its licensors. These terms give you the right to use them through the service while your account is open. They do not give you any other right to them.
9. Other services
Arcadia works with services run by others, such as Anthropic (Claude), ElevenLabs (premium voices with your own key), Google (sign-in), TikTok, Instagram and YouTube (publishing). Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Plan and account. This deletes your projects and videos. Download anything you want to keep first.
We may close the service or your account with reasonable notice, or at once in case of serious breach of these terms. If we close the service, we refund the unused part of a prepaid period.
11. Liability
We provide the service with care, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms. We tell you by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days before an important change takes effect. If you disagree, you can cancel before it applies.
These terms are governed by [French] law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you can use the courts of that country. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
